Spoke to some Turkish people on holiday. They are so so passionate about football but sadly seem to think fans fighting is the way to show passion.
You can apply that to the whole of Eastern Europe.

The over 60's game at halftime was a giggle...

Most of them thought that they were still 18...there was one guy who just stopped after about 5 minutes and stood at the side...the Swindon number 9 did a lot of running but no end product...reminds me of a player who we loaned out to Yeovil not so long ago  Embarrassed

They all looked as if they loved playing out on the pitch and they even done a lap/half lap of honour Smiley 3 of them came up into the stands after still in their kits, one of them was trying to keep up with the others but gave up after a few rows and decided to watch the 2nd half from there  Smiley Bet they've got some Town stories between them and hope I'll be fit enough to lace my boots up and have a kick about at that age. Fair play to each and every one of them  Clap

Totally agree, it was a right giggle. Fair play to them for being out there!

Having three job interviews and receiving two job offers as a result having only been home for just over a week. I expected to have to end up signing on for a few months.

Well done mate

Bang on, they were great and the town keeper was pretty agile, pulled off a couple of saves that to look at him you'd have thought he'd have required 7 days notice in writing to get to. I was a bit worried about the lap of honour, mind, slightly concerned they might still be doing that on the final whistle!
