People who try and get into the lift at work before letting the people in the lift get out. This also has the same effect on buses.

Na, what used to fuck me off was people who pressed both the up and down buttons and would get on the lift to go up or down. I remember getting into work and the lift coming down to ground full, because they actually wanted to go up and were too thick/fat/lazy to wait or work out that it would actually go past the point where they go on it...

I also enjoy the childish act of leaving a lift and pressing all the buttons. Yes, even at 32.

The Premier Inn next to Cardiff Airport (in Barry) has a sign in the lift:

'PLEASE DO NOT SMOKE IN THE LIFT'

I'll just smoke everywhere else in the hotel I thought. Bizarre.

Seeing PSV Eindhoven score in the 90th minute to win 2-1 to potentially win my 14/1 8 team accumulator only to find out that Sporting Lisbon have lost to Estoril (2/5) in the Portuguese Cup to be the only team to let me down. grrrr!

For the third consecutive Sunday on the trot my son's football match has been cancelled after we've all dragged ourselves up early, ventured out in the cold and hung around for 20 minutes while they decided whether to play or not.

Just like the last two weeks it was completely obvious by the weather forecast it was going to be cancelled, so why not just make the decision the night before and be done with it?

Funny places that seem to be springing up all over the place where you can put your feet in fish tanks and let the fish eat the dead skin off.

Why. Just Why?

@jotedyred - had the same thing with our match today. Very unfortunate for the other team that travelled from Lambourne, feel a bit bad for them as they travelled for a 9:30 KO

That's worse, at least we only had to go 5 minutes away, but it's the whole getting up and rushing around for nothing.  On the plus side I've got various things done round the house which I wouldn't have had football been on or we'd had a lie in!

Is your son still wanting to play in goal?  Josh is now actually being picked to play in goal rather than on the pitch.  Not sure how long the novelty will last, because he get's a bit bored of the standing around and freezing cold!  On the other hand if he decides that definitely is the position he wants to play in we'll probably have to fork out for some 1 on 1 lessons or something.  I'm hoping it won't come to that and he'll change his mind with time Cheesy

Leaving the staff to deal with it then us having to close the pool for 6 hours and 2 parties having to be cancelled!
If anyone was thinking of coming swimming at Calne leisure centre today - don't bother!!
