I agree. There was almost 10 minutes of it on the news last night. If he was so bothered couldn't they just pay for their own security?

So how come he wouldn’t feel safe in the UK without security yet he feels safe in the USA?

Because he (like his mrs) is an attention seeking twat. Let’s be honest there’s a pretty decent chance he’s not actually a royal anyway

I'd personally sooner be part of paying for Prince Harry and his families security in the UK, rather than bail out the ''Grand Old Nonce of York'' for the rest of his life. But shh, we mustn't talk bad of Uncle Andrew

I kinda agree, and then think we would end up with someone like Boris Johnson as our ceremonial head of state. 😲

For years the right wing press reacted to any suggestion of the UK becoming a republic with the "would President Blair" be better line ignoring two relevant points:
1. We would only end up with Blair, or Boris or any other cunt, it the majority of us voted for them, 2. We could just as easily have ended up with the famously unsweating friend of world famous paedophiles and child traffickers as our King with fuck all we could do or say about it.We
Getting to elect the person who gets to decide who forms our governments (because that's what the head of state does, it is not automatically the person who's party wins a general election, just ask Australia) should be a fucking basic element of a state that calls itself a democracy.

So, looks like the UK has conceded on allowing USA agricultural products into our markets. All well and good, but surely allowing stuff in - chlorinated chicken, hormone stuffed beef etc - doesn’t mean UK shoppers will buy the stuff.
Better be well labelled. Don’t want to be consuming this shit.

Given the price of chicken and steak over here, I can't really see how they get a foothold in the UK market. Mind you, the chicken breasts often look like they came from dinosaurs.

As someone posted elsewhere, the problem will be in restaurants & takeaways, if the shit coming in is cheaper, that’s what a lot of them will buy and therefore sell to the public. PS did see it reported on the news that the hormone injected beef still won’t be allowed (yet)

Tbf, I saw a chicken in the bargain bucket aisle with a yellow sticker. Thought I’d get that and freeze it.
Even reduced it was still a tenner!
