The fact that Tommy Robinson & his cronies declared that the Southport offender was an immigrant who came here illegally on a small boat just days before straight after the news of the attack came out, (which was later proved to be bullshit) and stirred up the EDL into a frenzy to attack anyone who looks remotely foreign & then the police for trying to stop them is just a symptom of what is wrong with the world now.
The extreme’s on either side are getting more extreme & emboldened to acts of violence.

There is a very funny video circulating of some guy giving it the biggun in front of the police, then takes a rock to the head, he turns around dazed and whilst walking away from the police cordon takes a rock square in the nuts!

There’s a world of difference between a copper being heavy handed with a violent Asian at the airport and a Somali youth murdering 3 little girls and wounding many others.

I think the comparison being drawn is not between those acts, it's about the contrast of opinion towards the police by presumably the same sort of people. You can draw your own conclusions to the usefulness of that comparison.

To be honest, you have to be mentally ill to do something like he did. Islam does seem to be attractive to the mentality ill(or have a strong influence on people who are susceptable to mental illness). The guy's parents where from Rwanda though, so he was almost certainly Christian(unless a convert and there's been no suggestion of that).

Yesterday it was reported that the accused wasn’t an asylum seeker. He was born of Rwandan parents (got mixed up, I thought it was Somalian). Born in Cardiff and moved to Southport 11 years ago.

Whatever his background he needs stringing up.

My arguement was more to do with people beating the police up. These people, i have seen them on social media absolutely disgusted over the guys hitting the police last week but now seem to think it's fair game.

There is absolutely no doubt we have to sort something out regarding the immigration but apart from the normal (shit) legal system i would love to know how the stop the boats argument solves the issue around a guy born in Britain to parents who flew here and were granted asylum
