No, I don’t remember stabbings/murders in the 80s and 90s - not at the football. If there was the occasional fracas I certainly don’t remember many, if any, dying on what is almost a daily occurrence now on the streets.
The 2 are in no way comparable.
I mean, there was literally an away fan stabbed outside the CG in the 80's, killed. |

Stabbed to death? Bollocks was there. But it’s hardly the same as multiple stabbings and murders almost every week. I can’t for the life of me see how anyone can compare the 2. |

If I remember correctly didn’t a police station in Knowle West get petrol bombed in the late 80s/early 90s, I guess that answers the question 😂 |

Disgusting scenes and there will be many more tomorrow as there’s more protest planned in major cites all around the country. I can also rember the riots in St Paul’s Bristol adound 1980 which spread to Toxteth and Handsworth😡 Edit: I wondered how long before the idiots started looting the shops…..some peaceful protest! |

You often find now that rent-a-mob turn up at any protest or demonstration with the sole intent on violence. It appears with these it is just those people who are turning up, water cannons & rubber bullets are the way to go
