there was a comment from the food tsar that blamed uk supermarkets for driving low prices from suppliers.
the accusation was that European supermarkets fluctuate their prices more to market conditions and so suppliers favour them as they get more cash.
uk supermarkets say 'bollocks' of course

I get "mouse shoulder" when doing mouse heavy work and decided to try and use an actual mouse rather than my trackpad and see if it helps.
I bought a really good one with gestures and shortcuts and things (so I don't lose out) and I hate the thing.
Forced myself to use it for a few days, but everything feels like it takes forever. And it's not helped with the shoulder so I'm sending it back.

I struggle with trackpads now, mind you I have been using a PC mouse since 1984, so go quite used to it now! but TBH my shoulder, elbow and wrist often hurt after a couple of hours work now.

Suppliers favour selling in the EU as they have none of the paperwork ball ache they have of getting goods between the EU & UK as its basically paper free within the EU. One of the big problems with the Tomato's etc is that after we flounced off the government made much of buying from Morocco to avoid the EU and made a massive song and dance about the setting up of a new ferry route from Tangiers - Poole which would avoid the paperwork issues in the EU. Like so many of their announcements this appears to have come to nothing and it remains less hassle for suppliers to sell into the EU rather than tranship across the EU with the associated paperwork and costs coming off their bottom lines.

All good for the UK, exports may end up exceeding imports
