At least with eon they let you know fairly quickly if you need to increase your DD but I'm not on a smart meter

I’ve just snaffled £400 back from Octopus. Spending £500 on return flights to Switzerland to put in my “pocket money“ account. 😂

Nah, pee lower is a parasite. Any genuine conservative supporters, champagne socialists and ‘working class’ Labour voters with money they’d rather keep who wish to load my suitcase are all welcome.

A beautiful melody - Not what you'd expect from the Butter Salesman!

I like the melody, I like the sentiment but I hate the song.

The two-way tickets, which offer a discounted rate, will be replaced by “single-leg pricing” which will mean that the price of two singles will be the same as the current return fare, according to the Telegraph.

call me cynical but ... don't believe it.

so what's the point anyway if it is true?

Depends how they do it considering at present a return is normally only a couple of quid more than a single.  If they drop singles back to 50% the cost of existing returns then it will be cheaper, but if they just up returns to 2x present singles it will just be a con to get prices up further.

If there ain’t a railway, rail strikes become toothless.

A bit tongue in cheek but with politicians currently, who the fuck knows?

Not trivial but genuinely upsets me - the absolute devastation of another natural disaster in the form of a "double earthquake" in Southern Türkiye and Northern Syria.

An event that could easily see 4k+ lives lost with the death toll closing in on 3k already.

Just makes me feel all reflective and that kind of shit. Thousands of lives, generations, infrastructure and so much more, wiped out in what essentially last for secs  Crying
