Not heeding my own warnings about the strength of my home made cider. 3 pints later and I’m absolutely wankered. Fell off the bed, got up, fell back down hard on my arse, crawled to the bathroom, eventually chucked up very little, burnt myself on the radiator (booby trapped by the missus, I turned the Ch off the other week) and had to be helped back to bed, my god what a state.

Fucking old enough to know better. In my defence M’lud i hadn’t eaten all day and I have seriously cut my alcohol intake down since my dryish January, down about 60% I think. We were on the cusp of having a roast beef dinner when the neighbours pinged us to join them for a few quick ones before hand while the sun was still out and you all know how just having a few can escalate. On the bright side I’m up had some tea and toast a bit jaded but these things happen. |

Haha, brilliant. The last time I got properly drunk was on scrumpy cider. I was probably 2 units the right side of being "shitting my pants" drunk. I bought 2 big bottles of fuck knows what strength but it was amazing stuff and I drank both in one night. I can't drink the stuff now  |
