Good timing that, just after a report on the dearth of public, affordable housing.

I know, its a sad state of affairs isn't it?

I've never tried beef Wellington.

Considering that beef is my second favourite meat, I don't quite understand why I've not tried it and am mildly annoyed that I haven't.

£360 million quid of the tax payers money to revamp Buckingham Palace as it hasn't been touched up for 10 years! Poor queeny!

Doubt the housemaids can say that with Phil the racist still wheezing about.

If you have eaten fillet steak, pate & pastry then you have, all be it not at the same time. A Reg Smeeton version is a town end steak pie.

Town should get with the zeitgeist, and serve rat burgers in the TE....all the rage in Moscow. Hot rats...Willie the Pimp indeed.

Went to a restaurant around Wales where it was listed as a Beef Wellington (Posh Pasty). Apparently very good though.

When flying up to Scotland, I had to show ID at the departure gate. Not really sure why, no one checked any ID when I've driven up there, or would they if I got the train. Not something that annoys me, just a little curious.

It's usual for photo ID when flying to NI or Scotland....

I think you'll find "flying" is the key word. Wales, NI, Sturgeonland, ROI, IOM, IOW,  Channel Islands & Isles of Harold Wilson (sorry) Scilly are all accessible using a drivers licence or PP, outside of those jurisdictions it's a PP. We are not part of the EUSSR & the Schengen Agreement. Put simply Donkey you can do limited damage in a car, now a plane is a different thing altogether, assuming you have ill intent of course.

Don't worry, we (I) are quite proud of his association with the islands - he is buried in the very pretty island graveyard with an unassuming gravestone, in amongst the locals & Lady Wilson & family still visit their small house - she reached her 100th birthday this year  Pint

Quite recently, she had problems when flying to Scilly as she did not have the required identification and was alleged to have said "My husband used to be Prime Minister you know"  Smiley
