If its a conspiracy theory you want, I'd say Sherwood arriving and taking everything is a partial sham so that it takes the pressure off Williams until things improve.
Or that maybe Sherwood bankrolled Power and wanted to take back control of a failing investment
Or. Or..
Being undercynical, it may be as simple as Sherwood is running everything as described but they need Williams to stay front of house so that Sherwood can continue to claim he's not been re-employed as a full time manager, to keep on the right side of his severance agreement with Villa

This seems the most likely scenario....in effect Villa are paying for our manager, rather like a loan signing. I'd imagine giving the Adver access to Willaims again, reinforces this.

That's not a conspiracy theory though..
And the whole idea was cooked up in Area 51 by the EUSSR to distract attention from Roswell.

Far too much logic in that, been pretty clear to me from the start that this is the exact reason

Whilst he is 'director of football', supposedly doesn't have a contract, and is not being paid, it's pretty clear he is managing the running of the club and first team. I'm also sure any non-compete clause or other covenants from Villa's end would not be so specific to give a future role a job title, but will be worded around the management or running of a club or specific duties. Pretty standard for a non-compete clause. The get out may be that he is not remunerated, which may be referred to in his previous contract.

That's not a conspiracy theory though..
I've heard that Sherwood's appointment is all a front, using Powers contacts in Switzerland he is actually negotiating with the EU to activate Article 50 and extract us from the EU as the government thought he was the best man for the job due to his knowledge of tactics and statistics (plus he looks good in a gilet - very continental you see!). His DoF role here is merely a ruse to explain his regular trips to Switzerland and the fact he has a constantly frustrated look on his face....

I wasn't aware of this, are they now having him one evening a week and he is staying with them every other weekend?

This is very trivial, but does annoy me... twattish drivers in sunglasses, with their headlights on. Now if it's sunny you don't need headlights and if it's dark enough for headlights why the fuck are you wearing sunglasses?
(Don't get me started on cunts who have front fog lights on when there's no fog..)

I've worn sunglasses in the fog, I'm not even saying that just to annoy you. OK, I am, but I'm not lying.

After leaving the store, Kim received a text to say her order was now ready to collect. She was able to get the jumpers later that day but she still feels let down with the experience she had in store on Wednesday morning. She only got the jumpers, an apology and a 'gesture of goodwill'. Asda, you monsters.

You don't mention the 20 degree temperature rise in the Arctic, which has resulted in the ice not reforming as usually happens.
