The science museum in London. Absolute rubbish. Not enough hands on things for the kids anymore, and what there is, a lot is broken.
They have manned tills at the entrance for persuading people for £5 donation per person. They are very pushy for this donation. With a 4 year old and 1 year old, I politely refused.
It was that crap we were only there an hour and a bit.
Just not the same as it used to be.

If you think there's not enough there you're a moron. All five floors in an hour? I bet you did the space exhibit, up the back stairs for the new human science exhibit and missed all the rest at the front of the museum.
A £5 donation is nothing in comparison to other family days out.

It's not the donation amount, it's the way they go about getting that donation. They put a lot of pressure on you to make a donation.
There was no human exhibit. I just feel they could do a lot more for the under 10's.

I still think you missed most of it. You tend to follow the space exhibit and then the floors above the IMAX, but you need to go back to the ground floor and up another set of stairs to see the rest of the floors.
Did you see the Red Arrows simulator?

Yeah, but there was a cost for that. Our kids are a little too young perhaps, but as a 'grown up' I just remember being a lot lot better than it was. Maybe it's a health and safety thing.
Talking of health and safety, I was in a shop and the lift was broken, so I asked for help with the pushchair up an escalator. They couldn't or wouldn't help me due to health and safety reasons...

But how the fuck the cinema can justify charging nearly 4 quid for a lager which turned out to be half a pint is beyond me
