Having to wait until midnight to get a doctors appointment using a dodgy online system which fails constantly. And you've probably lost the appointment by 12:02 anyway.

You'd think I was trying to buy fucking Glastonbury tickets.

I heard doctor and the medics are headlining.

Been struck down with some virus in the middle ear. Constant dizziness and if I even manage to walk from one room to another I puke violently. Never felt so dreadful in my life. Did get a docs appointment within 2 hours.

Good old NHS!

Golfing holes in one

I have been playing at a reasonable standard for at least 45 years but have never had a hole in one. To friends of mine, both of the gentle sex took up the game and both had a hole in one within 18 months. I played with an 80 years plus friend the other day - totally scuffs the ball and the ball shoots straight down the hole  Angry

The odds are 12,500/1 - must be due one soon or am I just born unlucky.

Any TEF Golfers had any better luck ?

I've had 2 (sorry) but I've always played a lot of golf and play to a decent standard.

First one a spawny thinned 7 iron at the now 3rd at Bowood up the hill that barely deserved to make bogey, the second probably the sweetest 8 iron ever struck on a golf course, also on the 3rd at North Wilts. Wind behind, so held off it a little bit, more or less jammed it straight in.

I fucking love golf

Got one at the 11th on Broome when I used to play a lot and to a reasonable standard.

Only been playing for 2 months (needed something to do whilst cycling is curtailed!) and sadly no holes in one yet!

The fact that when Town are doing well I hear nothing, but when we're basically bottom of the league every other bloody person seems to come up to me and say "How's your team doing?"

You try working with Oxford fans then.

I've conditioned our office to know exactly how were doing. I constantly have Arse, Chelsea and spurs fans coming up to me and their knowledge is really good now. It used to be who? Now every Monday they can tell me all the stats good or bad. I'm actually pretty impressed they've become engaged being plastic prem fans.
