I was bought a bottle of Bulmers Indian Summer cider. It is absolutely disgusting. Poured it away after one sip.

I'm trying to reconnect with a group of friends from uni, it all ended badly but that was 2 years ago and I'm feeling sentimental. Some of them were still ok with me, is this a good or bad idea, I don't really know. They were the best friends I ever had, far better than any of the friends I have now.

You don't need friends in the modern world, grow up and move on.

You may have to put flesh on the bones of the fallout for us sage TEF's to offer a solution.

When groups of friends fall out its always down to someone dipping their stick where they shouldn't.
The only friend you need is one that deflates and fits in a box

Bad idea. Friendship either works or it doesn't....we all change with time and move on....same with birds. Just let it go.

I think they are on the cusp of a new invention. Something to do with a bit of plastic and being able to slot it into a machine, press some buttons and cash comes out of a slot. Not sure it will catch-on mind, how it could ever replace a pass book and watching someone count your cash out 5 times in front of you with a rubber thimble on their finger, I don't know.

queuing to get my passport renewed via check and send at the post office. it's only when you're in the queue do you see there's a sign advising you that they only do check and send with an appointment.

This is the water. And this is the well. Drink full and descend. The horse is the white of the eyes and dark within.

A gang of drunk bellends with a collective IQ unlikely to trouble three figures have just woken me up by giving one of the rubbish bins outside my flat a loud and very vigorous shoeing.
It's times like these that I feel a sniper rifle would be a perfectly reasonable response.
