The scales at home are 20 years old. Will get a new set at weekend, but now need to lose another 8 pounds to get to my target weight!
A new set of scales will be more than 8 pounds so that is 2 birds with 1 stone sorted.  Cheesy Cheesy

Currys.  Constantly trying to get that extra money out of people.

Purchased a freezer there yesterday.  As it was over £250, they offered me buy now pay later over 6 months - admin charge of £35.  Delivery up to 5 March ranged in price from £20 to £45 dependant on the day, then became free.

I ended up paying on my 0% credit card and booking delivery for 2 weeks  so it's free, as I'm desparate. Not everyone is able to wait and has a credit card.

You should have tried John Lewis in the outlet village, they have some really good ones in the clearance section that can be delivered within a week.

Being stuck on the A34 northbound as two Wincanton transport lorries with identical shipping containers on the race each other neck and neck for miles with one going 1/4 mile an hour faster. Bastards should be banned from doing that.

Wincanton's main depot isn't far from where I live, I'll pop over and have a word. Lorries overtaking each other selfishly (i.e. when there are other people about) on dual carriageways would be illegal in my Britain.

I fully expect all lorry drivers on here to disagree.

The legal speed limit on a d/c for a +7.5 ton vehicle is 80 kph/50 mph.

The legal speed limit for a +7.5 ton on a s/c is 70 kph/40 mph.
On a motorway the speed limit for a Hgv is 60 mph, unles it it is fitted with a speed limiter then its restricted to 56 kph.
