Me spending 10 minutes turning the house upside down looking for my mobile (on silent so ringing was futile) only to find it in the top pocket of my shirt (which I was wearing)

Ha I do stuff like that constantly. Had a massive panic up on holiday last year thinking I'd lost my wallet - searched through hotel room, rang the bar we'd been at etc. Half an hour later checked the back pocket of the shorts I was wearing... Muppet.

I've been driving before, panicking because I thought I'd lost my car keys.

Someone who shall remain nameless spent five minutes looking for their slippers. They were wearing them.  Doh

I've done the whole, 'where's my hat' (wearing the hat) thing.

I've got the next 4 weeks off with no lectures and am thinking of flying back to England for a while, only problem is that I'm planning on coming back in March too, for 3 weeks (Wolves/Bristol City games and potentially Wembley in that time, will wait to see if we actually get to Wembley or not). Return flights are £180, hate it where I am so could use an extra month back home. Worth it? Or is it pointless to go there for a month, come back for 3 weeks and go back again for another 3 weeks in such a short space of time.

If money's not a problem, do it.  No point staying where you're not happy.
