More of a 'don't understand' than annoy, but why are pirates romanticised and portrayed to kids as lovable rogues? And in 200 years from now, will the Somali bandits who terrorise and murder in the Indian Ocean get the same treatment?

Yes they will, if Somalia goes on to forge global hegemony and develop the an Empire on which the sun never sets. Drake, a classic example, seen as a criminal pirate in Spain, but an archetype English swashbuckler here. Here's my hero...

I think I get it now. Sam mentions that Troy Archibald-Henville earns £150k+ annually in his article. Troy objects to his wage being printed/publically discussed, and calls Sam a podgy journo. Am I right?
I'm not surprised. It must be like Christmas everyday on that sort of money at our level.

Troys rant on twitter
Maybe Bad Bitches are banned in Carlisle, and he's getting a bit frustrated.

Some posh bint (head scarf and body warmer) thought it was amusing that her kid on reigns bashed the back of my legs until I moved out the way........
If it was a dog I would of kicked it.
She just laughed....fuck sake...

One of the board perhaps?
We all know who enjoys a pint or two.... RRROOOOAAAARRRR I think TAH might have burnt some bridges, it would have been wise for him to just ignore the article. It seems that he has no interest in Swindon with the number if tweets about former club Exeter and even with current loan club Carlisle.

Disappointingly the cabin boy was Tom and it was Master Mate, not Bates.
Damn you urban legend, damn you.
Edit: Something I just learned (form wiki though...). "John Ryan (creator of Pugwash) successfully sued both the Sunday Correspondent and The Guardian newspapers in 1991 for printing the urban legend character names as fact."

Being behind a queue of absolute fannies in the security queue at London city airport.
'yes this hair gel is over 100ml but it's half full!'
Give me strength! These people should be made to walk to their destination!

The justice for Becky petition. I'm not trying to take away from the fact that Halliwell should be prosecuted for it, but you can't change the procedures for arrest and interrogation without creating loads of problems in other cases.
Really the blame is on the police, which I believe is the father's view.
