My girlfriend has recently got a kitten who now decides it's fun to jump up and claw/grab my leg and random moments.

It's all been fun and games until last night: I was going hard at it with the Mrs and this bloody kitten clawed/grabbed me and eventually clung on to my leg.

Managed to shake the bugger off but couldn't carry on after that. Next time I'm locking it in another room.

Running a really awesome quiz at work, raising over £130 for our charity work (paying it all off in the process), all my own work.

Going out for a free meal last night, including open bar, getting tipsy and having fun.

Having an away day today. Organising a bunch of superiors and lawyers (less common sense than you'd think) onto a coach from slough and back again. Cutting down tree's, free bbq and more free booze.

Feeling generally really good about life and myself, getting praise and more general responsbility at work.

Then arriving back and finding out my dad's been admitted to hospital with a suspected blocked artery in his heart.

Wind out the fucking sails.

My old man had exactly the same thing a few years back. Like BR says, such heart things are really routine these days, he was in and out in 48 hours, and has been back a couple of times to get the other arteries/veins done. Absolutely nothing to worry about mate.

Cheers mate. I think he's only being kept in so long because of a lack of doctors to see him, 'cause he seems fine. But thats another debate

Often seems to be a delay in people being released over a weekend due to no doctors being around until Monday.

Sorry, but this is why I have not bought the Telegraph in years.

Fucking Comic

Makes my blood boil (and not just because we've lost a game).  I can't even begin to explain why...too many reasons.  But hopefully a few of you others will get it too.

Only 3 good things about the Telegraph - Matt, the crossword and that as a broadsheet it makes for a good Millwall brick.

Perhaps they should have taken a leaf out of DMR's book. The beautifully-arsed creature is becoming a fucking plague.

Perhaps it would have been better.

He seems a tad strange altogether.

Might be a really nice bloke though.
