It being suggested that cyclists should ride on the pavement. This is illegal so no deal.
Only in some cases.

IT 'users' in the workplace.
Instead of bitching to other colleagues, why not inform us of the issue so we can fix it.

Because everything you do should be absolutely perfect first time then there wouldn't be any issues. Just like the way they do their job absolutely perfectly with no glitches whatsoever and completely in line with their end users' expectations, no matter how unrealistic. Honestly, some people

Why inform IT of problems? I am perfectly capable of switching it off and back on myself.

Running a really awesome quiz at work, raising over £130 for our charity work (paying it all off in the process), all my own work.
Going out for a free meal last night, including open bar, getting tipsy and having fun.
Having an away day today. Organising a bunch of superiors and lawyers (less common sense than you'd think) onto a coach from slough and back again. Cutting down tree's, free bbq and more free booze.
Feeling generally really good about life and myself, getting praise and more general responsbility at work.
Then arriving back and finding out my dad's been admitted to hospital with a suspected blocked artery in his heart.
Wind out the fucking sails.

Thanks. I'm hopefull he'll be fine. My mum's been to see him and if something was up she'd be a state. But she isn't.
The daft sod was also in a fit enough state to not tell anyone untill he'd been in hospital 7 hours, because 'he didn't want to worry anyone'.
