Sleep in your fucking homes you cunts.

This morning, Paddington bound at 8am, so presumably most individuals were in the same boat as me i.e. got up, got ready and started to communte somewhere.

Surely this process does not sufficiently tire one out for a loud, crowded, bumpy nap.

Cunts.

Except Reg who is probably so old he can't keep his crusty old eyes open.

Chance would be a fine thing...the reassuring rat-a-tat-tat of wheel on rail, as one passes through the glorys of the English countryside....in a no smoking compartment, should always encourage one into the arms of Morpheus.

Now though, it's a sardine tin chock full of cunts who've got to rattle on mobiles about the most tedious details of their lives for all and sundry to hear....fuck off.  Half of them will be standing, because the tinpot rail operator will only have 4 coaches on a major link between cities...and you can fly to Moscow for less. Cheers John Major.

Pretty sure the only reason DMR was pissed off is because he was yakking away loudly on his mobile and woke someone up who was disgruntled at said situation.

As Reg said, I quite like taking a nap on a train. Or at least using the opportunity to rest my eyes for a couple of hours. I can't understand how the act of resting quietly is annoying. If they were snoring, maybe, but otherwise DMR you're obviously well jel you can't join them.

You would love the journey between Oslo and Bergen on the train, endless beautiful scenery occasionally punctuated by long tunnels. A brief, although expensive, detour on Flåmsbana from Myrdal to Flåm and back again is simply magnificent.

I'm doing a 3hr train journey from Copenhagen to Gothenburg next month - the route looks predominately coastal so I'm hopeful for a decent scenic experience.

Couldn't really be much else other than coastal...the Oresund Bridge, has got to be worth the journey on its own.

Now, I've done some silly things whilst drunk in my time, but this:

I wonder what the bloke said to him when he was forced to apologise to his face?

I would 'like' this a lot of times if you could do that on here.  A stunning, and very clever piece of architecture.

I'm planning on doing the Settle to Carlisle line in a few weeks. Presumably it's worth it?

Much better in the winter but still a nice scenic trip I have done it many times.

Cheers Pete. Think that's one day of my week's holiday up there sorted.

Bournemouth playing Real Madrid in a friendly.

The good part is they are charging 60 quid to watch it!
