The shitheaps we have to drive at work. Management are too stingy to replace them, meaning we've got transits thats are 8 or 9 years old, most with over 200,000 miles on them, and they're garbage. The rule used to be they were replaced after 3 years. That was extended to 5, then to 7, then to 9. We had 3 transits break down yesterday, I was in one of them, clutch was on its way out, I was told by the boss to crack on until it went pop, so I did, and it did, outside Asda in West Swindon in the rush hour. I wasn't popular.
It makes no sense to keep the shit vans, as they must be costing them an arm and a leg in replacement parts and hir vans to cover their time in the garage. Fucking idiots.

We had the same problem at work, but we changed the whole the whole fleet & it worked out about £60.00 a month cheaper to lease brand new vans than to keep the old ones that we owned on the road.

You could always crash into their BMWs in the car park and claim the brakes are fucked...

Not once was i ever told this would happen if your contract doesn't state that your position and salary can be changed freely then you do not have to accept these terms and they cannot action it. Get some advice from your union

The Mrs: Are you busy?
Me: Yes, I am busy
The Mrs: Can you go to the shop for me?
What's the point of asking if I'm busy when the answer is clearly irrelevant? What a waste of words!

One thing that really irritates me is grown men in the changing rooms who come out of the gym (i.e. not the swimming pool) but put on a set of trunks to go to the shower.
Grow up and get your nudger out. Nobody cares even if it is pony.
