White dog shit was caused by giving dogs bones. That has decreased hence why there is less white shit

I once drew out a whole hopscotch game with this good old dog chalk....probably the reason no other boys or girls wanted to play with me.

Jealous as fook of all you lot who are being sent to Coventry tomorrow.  If my boys were just a little bit older, I'd be bundling them in to the car and travelling up for the game.

So where's that bloody "legacy" we all paid billions for now then?

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-south-yorkshire-21627003

Disgrace.

The politicians (most of them, of all colours) don't give a fuck about grassroots sport and developing talent for the future.
All too happy to revel in the glory of the medals won after years of hard work by unsung coaches but won't do anything to support the upcoming generation as it's not glamorous and is an easy target for spending cuts.
Funding for athletics has been slashed since the Olympics and I fear that this wont be an isolated incident.

It's got nothing to do with the Olympics.
Sheffield council decided to bid for the World Student games, and paid £M's on infrastructure for a white elephant
(how many of us tuned in to watch the student games ?)
They have two choices - carry on paying the mortgage on the white elephant, or cut their massive losses

Again, this has nothing to do with the Olympics and everything to do with the vanity of Sheffield council

Changing the name of the stadium at the eleventh hour from the Don Valley to the "Jessica Ennis Stadium"  was a desperate attempt to get National funding for a local fuck up

Presumably the legacy is in London and not in Yorkshire when there's another athletics stadium just down the road.

How old are they? Never too young for an away game.

I want a season ticket. I miss football. my lad will be 3 later this month, I reckon it's maybe a year too early for me to take him to a game... and with working lates, I'd miss the midweek games. hmmmmm. my missus wouldn't be best pleased being left with two sprogs either...

Flicking through my freeview guide and see "Brand New Peep Show"

I assumed it was the most recent series being repeated that i've only seen once, it's series 1!

A strange title!

The World Student Games in Sheffield was over 20 years ago. The City Council hasn't had a problem funding it until now. It's the £190m cuts to its budget that the current government have imposed on it that's causing the closure. It's either that or cut social services, education ...... etc.
