I used to work in a firm of solicitors and the highest fee earner (female) used to have some disgusting toilet habits. Shit on the seat, floor and walls. Also used toilet paper everywhere. She was that valuable to the firm however that no one had the balls to confront her about it. They just used to put signs up like "please leave the toilet clean and tidy." Of course these didn't help at all.

As i'm neither a cleaner or male i don't understand what they expect me to do about it. Dirty scumbags!  Probably Asians who aren't used to sitting down and doing the business. At my halls last year they had to put up signs to stop people shitting while squatting over the bowl, it was messy. |

What would be the value in someone doing that? Surely you only bid up to what you want to pay irrelevant of what somebody else's maximum bid is or am I being dim?
You do bid what you are prepared to pay, maximum. However, if no-one else is interested, then the bid is lower. If they seller knows the max, they can use a friend to bid up to just below my max to ensure they get more money. So now, they get no money from me (or Mrs D). |

The Nectar App for the smart phone has some decent offers, I pretty much permanently get double points at BP and quite a lot of bonus points for a big shop over £50
Even when you take into account the nectar bonus points, I still find shopping at asda is cheaper. |

Yup, had this last year with RAC. Renewal price massively more than new customer price. Rang up, instant price match. Will remember to remove the auto-renew this year. There seems absolutely no point in loyalty whatsoever.
Ha ha I take it back, their renewal quote was cheaper than the new member online price. |
