To be fair this seldom happens at all, if it happened twice in one run I'd venture you probably were bimbling Smiley

Anyone who knows me knows i don't bimble when driving! And it was 2 separate runs  Smiley

Learner drivers, I seem to get stuck behind them all the time. Now I fully appreciate that people have to learn to drive but over here they seem to teach them to drive slower than the speed limit.

Also another thing that annoys me is that people over here will sit right up the back of learner drivers, desperate to get past. Now while it is frustrating to be stuck behind a learner at least have some compassion with people learning and drop back a bit, people of Luxembourg.

I'm shocked there is any traffic at all in Luxembourg!

Traffic here is actually pretty bad. Basically you have all the French, Belgian and Germans coming over the border into Luxembourg (salaries and benefits are generally higher here) which causes the increase in traffic.

Yank bank.

my language skills are rotten (I can just about get by with my Fronglish) so I am restricted to working in the Finance industry.

I will be looking at my options next year, it could be time to move back to the UK.

6 and a half years now! Time has flown!

My mum lives in Panama City, Florida but having been out there, I much prefer the European way of life.

London is warm, no?

I guess when it comes to colder climes, Norway probably takes the biscuit doesn't it?

I knew someone at Uni who claimed to speak luxembourgish, as if it was an actual language.

Nobody believed him

Florida is just old folk anyway.

Six months here and despite logic suggesting that I'd be better off staying, I really miss the UK. I don't think I'd survive six years of this.

I'm going to assume that there aren't that many ex-pats over there?

The good thing about Lux is that there is a good ex-pat community so whilst of course its not quite the same as being in the UK, you have other people around you that are in the same boat.
