Countrywide property management. Get an invoice, so I ring the local office to pay monthly.

'No you can't do that sir.'
'I've done it before, for the last 12 months in fact'
'It's a new policy'

So I refuse to pay it and without any hassle I now have monthly payments resetup after contacting their head office!

What a waste of my time ringing the local office!

If you don't mind me asking, is that for ground rent; do they manage the communal areas of where you live?

It's supposed to be yeah Barry. Useless though. Even though we live in a three bed house we still have to pay for gardening etc in the area!

The tape that a lot of the athletes are wearing at the Olympics.  Does it actually do anything?

The threat of another adult particularly a stranger telling a child off will generally put the fear into them and make them behave.  I take it you don't have kids or you may well have used this?  Smiley

Kinesio Tape http://www.kinesiotape.ca/whatitdoes.htm

Yes. It lifts the skin away from the muscle allow lymphatic drainage and improved function.

I suffer from really bad headaches most days and it was recommended by my physio. Applied it to my neck, left it on for a few days and have gone 2 weeks without a headache. Also worked on thigh strain and wife's RSI.

Applied properly it really seems to work.

It helps stabilise my knee more than your standard elasticated knee support. Only way i can do any sport at the moment due to chronic kneecap pain.

Most elasticated supports or tubey grips are for compression/warmth and serve no supportive function.

I quite often get tension headaches, so might have to give it a go.

My electric toothbursh breaking the night before last. I went straight on Amazon and bought a new one, only to get it today, plug it in and find the old toothbrush was fine, it was the 2 pin plug adapter that was faulty...  Embarrassed

In my defence, I tried the adapter with my power flosser thing and it charges fine in it. However, neither the old or new toothbrush do. Weird.

Anyone want a brand spanking new (only taken out of box and charger plugged in) Braun Oral B Professional Care 1000 toothbrush for £25? (£5 less than I paid and cheaper than you'll find anywhere.)
