San Miguel Fresca. I bought 8 bottles from Sainsbury's, not realising it wasn't normal San Miguel. I came home, took it all out of the packaging and left it in the fridge. I've just had one. Jesus, it's a disgusting beer. It took me 2/3 of a bottle for it to dawn on me it wasn't the normal San Miguel and to feel relief San Miguel hadn't suddenly lost all taste. Horrid, horrid beer.
I will call a product's customer helpline for the first time and will complain at the money I've wasted.

Team GB is a fucking shit name. What's wrong with Great Britain?
Thanks Christ it's not just me. Just travelled up from the in-laws and on the radio it was 'Team GB this and Team GB that...'. Such a stupid name, Great Britain, or Britain will do for me. And the Great in Great Britain is about size, not claims of grandeur.

We also have athletes from Northern Ireland I'm guessing? So it should be Team UK.

Indeed, the whole name Team GB got on my wick at the last Olympics. At least being out of the country I don't have to hear it

No. The Olympic team of Great Britain and Northern Ireland is just fine as it is.

Lineker has said it about ten times in the last half hour. How difficult is it to say 'Great Britain'?
What is our infatuation with shortening names down all the time. Didn't the Americans start this 'Team' thing in 1996 or something?

It's not a team in the true sense of the word anyway. What's even more galling is there's going to be a brand marketing consultancy out there that will have earned a lot of money for dreaming that one up.

Why not shorten it to the UK as maybe it's actually correct?

Why not shorten it to the UK as maybe it's actually correct?
Because the name of our Olympic team is already correct, it just gets abbreviated which is the issue. Plus our competitor abbreviation is GBR which won't be changed. Team UK (GBR) is going to confuse. Lastly 'UK' is itself an abbreviation of 'The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland' so would be factually no better anyway. Definitely drop the wanky "Team GB" name, but not replace it with something equally wanky.

Yeah, surely this flag is a lot better for a lot of reasons. I was very happy to see it.
