I'm a bit miffed by the fact that Steve Evans has "standards" and refused to speak to the BBC.
What a cunt.
Steve who? I don't speak about him because I don't know him, I've never heard his name. How can I speak about him?

Rather more serious than not understanding or mildly annoying, bloody awful in fact. My best friend's fiance's father passed away on Friday night having been diagnosed with terminal lung cancer 8 weeks ago. Another friend's father collapsed and died of a heart attack on his allotment yesterday morning. One of my direct reports from work has just rung me to say she won't be in tomorrow, as the Prospect Hospice have informed her family that her mother isn't expected to last the night. Sort of puts my trivial moans of the weekend into perspective.

Samdy Gray's clearly fiddled prediction league :-
Batch Jr, aged 7, 1st, 26 points. Batch, aged rather not say, 47th, 8 points.
It's a marathon not a sprint son. Grrrrr.

My fucking car.
Passed my test last week, since then, the following things have fucked up.
Alternator 2 front tyres Gearbox
And to top it off, some cunt keyed it yesterday.
The alternator and tyres i could just about manage to repair, 300 quid for the lot.
But now a new gearbox and paintjob? Taking the fucking piss.
Oh, and one of my headlights is pointing towards the sky.

If its any consolation by best mates youngest brother passed his test and then refused to drive the old metro his parents had bought him. Saved up bought himself a Peugeot 206 (I think im no good with car models) picked it up on the Thursday. Drove into a lamp post and totaled it on the Tuesday. My first full comp yearly insurance was 1,100ish and that seemed like a rip off back then. Infact - I've probably only just paid more than you're 3750 in 8 years.

Gutting for the lad, though a 206 isn't much of an upgrade from a metro - the ungrateful sod! £3750 for insurance says to me you own the wrong car (not you DV). A guy I used to work with got an MX5 at 3pm and it was exiting a roundabout backwards into lamppost by 5:30. Shortly after he said "lets see what this can do" I believe.
