My little step bro plays in goal. He played at that CG tourney the other day.

Batch - yes he sometimes gets bored - his team are quite good and he can go whole games without touching the ball - when it is minus 6 in February this can reduce a young lad to tears.

What he does really enjoy though, is the goalkeeper training. Separate goalie training once a fortnight with the club, and until recently I was paying for him to have an hour a week coaching with James Bittner.

No Ciren connections here, I am proper Wiltshire inbred!

My flatmate, who is related to a Manchester United player who gets tickets to the big games is going to the Champions League final. This isn't the annoying part as that doesn't bother me in the slightest. The annoying part is that he gets to stay at the family hotel which means hobnobbing with the wags. Seemingly at the last final in Rome he arrived at the hotel and was basically there, himself with the Wags! Nani's missus and Carrick's wife were particularly impressive in their bikinis by the pool apparently!

If he's looking for some more excitement, my lad's U9s team are looking for a keeper for next season. He might not win any medals, but I can promise he won't be bored Smiley

Cheers Wiggy, that's exactly like my lad and I guess its something all goalies go through at whatever age. That's why they want to go up front at every opportunity!

Specialist goalie training sounds good. Its something my lads club is looking at across all ages. He has another session coming up with Digby soon too Smiley

I get annoyed that bands I really like don't seem to be able to get air-time on national radio - The Chapman Family for example.

I think he knows the 8 but not a clue from what's inside the meeting- I don't think Buckle was even in the 8 to be honest. The final3 shortlist thing was probably guesswork based on who has the most buzz around them.
