Looks like my Scottish team are in a bit of financial bother

http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/22888346

It doesn't seem that long ago when I lived in Edinburgh going to watch the Jam Tarts in the Europe League at Murrayfield (or whatever it was back then).

Seems like the Romanov adventure is going to end very badly.

Nice to see the Gorgie lot get what they deserve. Don't want them out of business, just out the SPL (only for a bit).

But apparently Virgin Money/Northern Rock was OK.

This is another pet hate of mine, this whole fuss about clubs being sponsored by pay day loan companies and politicians coming out against this. They are operating within the law, if they are not take action, if you don't like them ban them but don't use football as a way of getting soundbites about something you have no plans to do anything about!!

No-one batted an eye when Blackpool were sponsered by Wonga. Whats changed since then?

Wonga visited Blackpool and decided it didn't fit the corporate image they were striving for?

HA! The 300c is honestly a pretty good car, the estate is a beast.

It's like those muppets who stick 'm' badges on their bmw's, hoping nobody will realise it hasn't got the right bodykit/exhausts to be an 'm'. So many better things to spend your money on...

You have got me onto a subject now  Smiley.

People who spend about £10k on pimping their motor when they could have gone out and bought the model they aspired to.

It's the fucking loud exhausts that get me.

WHY. JUST WHY? When you hear one of those you immediately think, 'Oh, that must be some dickhead in a corsa', not 'Oh my goodness, I have just heard the vocalisations of christ.' The only thing it does is A. let people know you HAVE a tiny cock, and B. let people know you ARE a huge cock.

Work related gripe- we had three people come into the pub today. They'd booked two rooms to stay in, were happy with them, commented on how nice the place was, had a nice chat about the local area, told them the best way to get to the local attractions, they were friendly and thanked me for my help.

I knock off work, go home, have some dinner, then go back to same pub for a pint.

Turns out they've walked out on the dinner they were eating, their accomodation for the night, their bar tab (couple of bottles of wine and several pints), everything, without paying. All because 'the bread had too much yeast in it'.

The fuck?

Never understood it either. Its always been there though, even in Ciren. Back in the day when the world was black and white there was a group that literally went down to the Greasy Joes lorry park to park up and polish their cars. We saw them on occasion when we cam back from the pub.

Why? Yeah it may have lowered track suspension, a body kit with more skirt than a royal princess, a baked bean can exhaust, top speed of 175 and 0-60 in 5 seconds and an under chassis LED. But, and here is the thing, underneath it all its still a fucking Vauxhall Nova.

Still, The Fast and The Furious franchise at leat got them out the fast food carparks and into the cinema. Assuming they negotiated the speed ramps.

Turns out they've walked out on the dinner they were eating, their accomodation for the night, their bar tab (couple of bottles of wine and several pints), everything, without paying. All because 'the bread had too much yeast in it'.

If it were the next day I'd say they were pulling a high class version of the Pikey "'ere Mr, my kid found glass in his meal, I ain't paying". But since it was the night before I can only assume you have met the Dostoyevsky family.

Can anyone tell me what animal I saw in Big Bend National Park, Texas? I thought it was a pair of stags, but having googled them, they're nowhere near big/tall enough for what we saw. Same antlers and stuff that stags have, but the body was on top of 6-foot muscly legs. These things were massive, and I didn't realise anything like them even existed. It was pitch black, around midnight, and we thought we'd seen some kind of mystical creature.
