Internet and Call centre for return tickets on a groupsaver for 4 from Swindon to anywhere in London, (including wembley obviously) were £43....just went to swindon station as I heard they were doing em for £16 and sure enough they are....robbing bastards! just make sure you say you ask for tickets via didcot...... those that have already bought their tickets, you should be able to get a refund as long as its a flexible jobby..... that is all love from your money saving expert

its simply a groupsaver for 4 people....although I had to tell her that I wanted to go via didcot rather than her telling me....should only be another couple of quid from nam
on the subject, just looked at getting my 8 tickets I bought earlier going from hungerford (not knowing that swindon was only 16 quid rather than 43) that cost 92quid for 8 @ 11.50 each and they want a tenner admin fee to refund them so.....
know any hungerford based town fans who might wanna take these off me hands to save me a tenner??

You can get them on the day. Just ask for Group Saver, they will give you tickets from swindon to didcot, and didcot to swindon and a London Day Railcard from didcot to all London Zones. on the day will be £21.40 for 4 adults. Every junior after that is £1.
4 adults 4 juniors will be £8 something..

Well this a common thing for London away days and what you're saying is spot on. When my mate went to the station to get ours today (for £16 something) though they told him tht they are stopping the groupsaver. Not sure if that meant for Saturday 29th or just stopping them in general (I doubt), so my advice is get them in quick at the station.
All this 'it's cheaper to get a single' and 'buy your tickets to Didcot and then Didcot to London' etc....Our countries ticketing pricing system need sorting out, it's a joke....all the Tories fault!
What time are people planning on getting the train in the morning?

It's all well and good buying train tickets on the day, but if it's rammed then
a) You'll be queuing for hours to buy a ticket and b) There'll most likely be priority for those who've paid for a set time/train

The timed ones only get priority if a seats reserved with it though.

They are planning to stop doing the group savers.
So if you want one you better get down there quick.
Ticket office lady told one of the lads today, they were waiting for it in writing, but had already been told that they would be banned from selling group savers for next saturday.
