What delta said. If he's wearing the shirt, we should be 100% behind him. Especially if he gets any time at all next week - ex-Chelsea, now at West Ham, Millwall will give him dog's abuse, makes it all the more important that we back him

Well that was entertaining.

Seemed to be a real feel good feeling around the ground today from the off.

Brentford were decent and their passing game matched ours at times. Think the criticism of Nouble is a tad harsh, thought he looked decent after creating the 3rd. Clearly been lacking confidence.

Highlight of the afternoon was seeing Paynter singing along with the Danny Ward chant. Legend.

Luckily the tension towards the end of the game was eased slightly by the rather attractive female officer in in front of the Town End.

Onwards to next week, the final week, what an epic season. The progress in 12 months has been immense.

'Also considering we had nothing to play for, a very good turn out of Bees fans who outsang Swindon for long periods.'

 Huh?

From where I was in the town end it appeared pretty much everyone was right behind nouble and genuinely willing him to do well. I supported my all my team 100% during the game and left my criticisms for a forum after. Nowt wrong with that. To be onwest hams books he must have something but surely we don't have to suck it out if him. Ward darby and shhehan all settled in no problems.

Absolutely not. Where I was in the middle of the DRS, there were far too many having a go at him pretty much every time he touched the ball and, as delta said, "moaning everytime you fucked up or missed a chance". I was agreeing with delta that it doesn't help a player to be got at during the game, not having a go at people criticising him on here. Hence the "What delta said"

Yeah, the Town End was fantastic yesterday. DRS was also pretty good by and large but I also noticed what delta did, that there seemed far too many ready to leap down Nouble's throat every time he got a touch. He wasn't great and I wouldn't disagree with most of what people here have said about him (with obvious exception) but barracking an 18-year old while he's playing isn't really going to help him up his game. It's just daft

That was tooooooooooo tense for someone who couldn't be there.

Sitting in the office with one eye on the right thing (thetownend.com) and the other eye on what I was supposed to be doing aint good for the blood pressure Blow Up

Having to leave work and get home whilst listening to the muppets on R5 is sick making Lips Sealed I nearly stacked it celebrating the Leeds and Milwall results Banana

Then ahving to wait for the final result whilst sorting dinner just about sent me to the funny farm.

Saturday is going to be absofuckinglutely bonkers.

What I need to get my head round is this- what happens if, after all the games are done, we have a situation where Leeds and Milwall are on equall points and matching goal difference- who gets the automatic spot? Is it down to goals scored?

I pretty much agree with you Paul. But lets face it, hes just not up to it and there is no room in the team for him. As I said before, Darby, Ward and Sheehan are all young and have slotted in with quality no problems. Its the business end of the season now and we have no time for passengers. Definitely 4th choice...I dont particularly rate pericard but he is a big strong lump who you can stick in the middle to mix things up.

Funny comments above about being outsung by Brentford...where did that come from?? A bees site? I barely recall hearing them all game?

Apparently if Leeds lose 1-0 and Milwall draw 2-2 next week that would make everything totally even. It would go down to results between the 2 clubs, Millwall have beaten Leeds twice and therefore 'Wall would be promoted and Leeds would face the lottery of the play-offs

Did anybody else hear the monkey chanting directed to one of the Brentford players from a group of lads in the town end? Made me sick. Very sad.........

It would be decided on the 2 games Leeds & Millwall played.  Millwall would go up as they beat Leeds Home & Away

Great day....brilliant atmosphere, looking forward to next Saturday so much now.
Think Darby was brilliant and would love to sign him....ware getting so used to Paynters good games and Ward is class.
Got a feeling Rovers could sneak a draw....it could be us who upsets the applecart.
