Thing that fucked me off most today? at half-time I overheard someone say: "this is why I don't come very often". I was speechless.

Well, if you too that game in isolation without knowing anything else about our season you might be forgiven for thinking not much has changed since last season. Soft defending, limp strike force. Not sure how its possible to miss our entire seasons results though )

Looks like Austin has hit a brick wall in terms of his confidence in front of goal. Dont see that being a big problem for him or us long term, just something that he'll have to learn to cope with and iron out.

I disagree with this.  I think he's had one good chance (yesterday) and two half chances since his scoring 'stopped'. I think that's the issue - we've created less clear cut chances. The rest of his game looks OK to me, still wanting the ball.

basically Danny knew it was all over so took Austin off to rest for Tuesday night. Wise move

All over? It was virtually the start of the 2nd half!

It was all over at half time... Did anyone think we'd rescue a point, as I certainly didn't?

If we got a goal in the first 5 or 10 of the second half then I thought we had an outside chance. It was just that we had not played too badly in the attacking sense.

But that thought was put to bed quite quickly.

The four changes I listed is overkill but I reckon some change would be good to stop players becoming complacent and to give some of the others a chance to see what they are capable of - Pericard and Ritchie in particular. Bar Ward I'd say the other 10 players are all untouchable at the moment and could take a shit on Wilson's desk and still not get dropped.

As I said before I don't think anyone was particularly bad today, but you need to change things once in a while.

I'd start Pericard for Austin on Tuesday.

Let's be honest, the thing that hurts the most is that it was f***ing Rovers (complete Scum).

They've done us twice now, Seven goals for and none against...

That's the bit that hurts....

But for them to only bring 1400-1500 to our place shows what a f***ing useless second rate club it is...

Now let's move on and get 3 points on Tuesday and we'll be back on our way...!!

U Reds......

Meh it's annoying but look on the brightside. We're still 5th. I remember the season that Cheltenham dicked us twice and it felt awful and embarassing but we finished 10th and they went down so I didn't really give a shit in the end. I don't think Rovers will finish in the play-offs.

Cos it's a bugger to get to, at least we have the decency to put the ground in the middle of town.
