Bridge should have been binned after the notorious Croatia game, when he gave easily the worst performance I've ever seen in an England shirt.

Unfortunately fellas like Baines aren't better, which is why someone like Capello tends not to pick them from choice.

Phil Neville hasn't been playing left-back though has he? Capello is pretty strict with positioning.

Fair point.  He has played there before though and is a better player now than he was then, there has also been people suggesting Milner may play there.
