I don't think anyway has ever really gushed over the ability of Wayne Bridge have they? He's a decent enough top flight defender and had a lot of promise at Southampton etc etc Ashley Cole will probably go not fully fit. They'll either have Lescott act as cover or take Warnock or Baines. That's right, I'm talking football |

Thing is, I'm starting to think I wouldn't really care that much if it did. I feel next to nothing for any of this crop of England players. Most of them seem to have their heads wedged so far up their own arses it's a small wonder they haven't collectively suffocated by now.
I may change my tune in the summer, but as of now my footballing goal for 2010 extends to another victorious day out at Wembley in May followed by a solid start in the Championship. How England get on doesn't really bother me much at all.

I'm quite surprised by some of the comments on here. The fact that Bridge has given up his chance to be part of a World Cup set up based upon his principles is a refreshing change! Don't think he should be villified for it!
Don't think he is an international calibre player, but fair play to him for removing himself from the situation FOR THE SAKE OF THE TEAM. Today, Mr Bridge went up significantly in my estimation! An honourable man who is much more of a role model than many of the others in the England squad.

I'm a football fan and English. Therfore by default I will support England at the world cup. The fact that half our players are cunts dosnt bother me in the slightest. I'm supporting a football team, not an extension of hello magazine or the Sun.
