My Mate(who happens to be a Leeds fan ) is mates with Stephen Irelands agent and he sent me a mail this morning "Bit of news for you – wayne bridge to announce England team retirement – something to do with either John Terry or Mr Cole knobbing his wife –read all about it Sunday if his injunction fails...."

Of course it could be worse for JT. He could be caught taking £10k, via a dodgy agent, to show some people around Chelski's training ground.

I enjoyed the comments below the story from women claiming this illustrates the decline in moral standards in this counrty and that he should be sacked.

Why blame the papers? If he didn't do it in the first place they'll be no story.

Personally, I'd rather have 'news' of this nature hitting the fan during the next few months (in much the same way that if a player is going to get injured, I'd rather he did it now and not later on). After that point, we'll be firmly World Cup Build Up mode - during which period revelations like this would cause a lot more damage.

I'm not blaming the anyone, merely wishing the papers would keep hold of it until we've crashed out of the WC in the quarters... then I can join the Daily Mail in hating him too. At the moment, I couldn't care less who he's poking as long as he doesn't injure himself whilst doing it.
