Every manager will use a club in a lower division as a stepping stone if a bigger club comes along - that is just normal and its the same as any industry. How many people would turn down a promotion and a pay rise? Football, like it or not, is an industry like any other. To think that Paul Sturrock should have some kind of loyalty to his employer of nearly a year in a town he has no connection to is extremely naive.
Which is all fair enough. Just don't go round telling people you have a contract for X months and won't be breaking it.
<awaits...but he wasn't paid so contract was void/had Plymouth clause in it replies>

On the football side I thought he did a fine job. Which is why I was pissed off when he left. He also left us up a creek with a shit paddle.
