Ah yes. I remember now. I thought there was something else too. An incident prior to that.

He assaulted a woman in a night club before he assaulted the young Mansfield player.

Fucking horrible about his niece, but the whole story was all very sugar coated for a bloke who has a history of extreme violence so perhaps he could think as sensitively about the people he had assaulted and their families.

As for the stuff with Sheridan we will never know unless we hear both sides of the story (which I hope we never do as I don't want to hear that twat talking about his time here), ultimately different people deal with grief in different ways and some (like it appears Sheridan did) clam up and stiff upper lip and all that, and expect others to do so and are perhaps so tied up in their own inner turmoil that they are pricks to others around them, is it right, no but its how human beings work everyone is different.

Good player, flawed man, would possibly like him back as a player but don't think I would want to go for a drink with him.

Must admit I thought he started well and then seemed to get worse. Unhappy? Stuff going on off field limiting training time? Who knows. Never look back, always forward.

Watching Charlie Austin on Sky Sports - has he put a bit of timber on?
Still knows where the goal is though.

There was a piece on our local news about two guys ast Exeter Uni who are in training for the skeleton at the next olympic winter games, one of the them was called Thomson and claimed that he was an ex STFC youth player.  Good luck to him, sooner him than me!

Good luck to their fitness and conditioning coach. I doubt saying ‘Just do it’ will have the desired effect.

a compilation of twines best goals is getting quite ridiculous now. another screamer last night and did another free kick last week. hopefully he gets a transfer to the championship next season. its gone quiet on compensation for him but i guess that would rule us out of future sell on clauses

If it goes to a tribunal, they usually insert a sell-on as standard.

Tom Heaton on the bench for Man Utd in the CL last night managed by former ST player Carrick (do we have any other former players who have managed in CL?), which I wouldn't have bothered mentioning were it not for the reason that Carrick chose to have 2 keepers on the bench???
