Eddie Howe - on the list of players to have signed (albeit on loan) for the club, March 2004, but never played for Town.

How many others? Craig Rocastle another, plus the PDC trio that never quite went through...

And that bloke from Exeter in close season who went home after about 48 hours. Bet he's ruing his luck now.

Ian Hendry was in The Sweeney. Saw him in Vadims many moons ago, he'd been appearing at the Wyvern Theatre.

Not sure he'd get in the team anyway!

Cheers I had no idea what happened to him after he left Swindon due to stress issues.

If, and it’s probably an impossible if, Sheridactyl ever got another club and had to come back to the CG.

Would he get out alive?

I'm holding out for an OSC on the sofa special with the Sheridactyl  looking back over his and our fond memories of his time at STFC
