Nalis could be a quite decent Sweeper.

I'm sure they take their boots off before going into the changing rooms.

If that is the lineup then I reckon Nalis will be in the middle of the park and Smith at right wing back with Amankwaah at centre half.

Apart from Nalis lacks a good range of passing and composure on the ball.

Bollocks. He's just slow.

Thats what I said to the person who told me, but they said thats not what they were practicing, I'd be suprised if he played nalis and the back and jack in midfield though

Sounds interesting anyway, if true. Wish I was going now!

Tomorrow better be worth the 400 mile round trip or I won't be best pleased.

I take it you're going with Steve? Bet you're relishing the prospect of Stan Collymore on the way home! Cheesy

Well Hello,

I picked that team, apart from no Nailis and replace with Paynter up front. 4-4-2

just thought if he was going to suck up alot of presure and hit them on the break with the pace on the wings, would love to see marshall and macca play together. Weve seen teams start to double up on macca but they couldnt do it to both of them and cant believe allen hasnt had a look in.

Oops I didnt have Marshall, just seen that.
I've not seen much of Allen so cant make an opinion.
Nailis is just well past is sell by date for me.

TCP put round the idea of playing as a sweeper, now that is not as silly as it sounds because Nailis can read the game well, but if we want to start climbing up this league we need to go on the offensive, defensively, well we struggle to hold onto a three goal lead (Hartlepool).
How many points have we dropped this season when in front.

i dont think nalis is that bad, we just havnt played to his strengths. he needs ball to feet and movement arround him, thats why i had him holding with lots of high energy players arround him.  just think what we have been doing this season so far hasnt worked lets give somthing else a try. or maybe put pook in there instead

Nalis will get murdered for pace. I never subscribed to the popular idea you don't need pace to sweep.

Disagree with that, Ian Culverhouse was an excellent sweeper and was not pacey, I would say key thing is reading the game which I think Nalis is good at.  Still a massive gamble mind.
