Euro 96, and therefore Terry Venables, is one of my fondest collection of memories from my youth. Great England manager and always seemed like a great guy. RIP.

You'd be very hard pressed to find anyone there who knows who he was. There's remarkably little ill will towards the Americans there, or in Vietnam even. The Khmers hate the Viets, and the Viets hate the Chinese.
