My brother lives in Sweden and is heavily involved in a music against cancer charity over there, through this he became friends with her as she was also involved.

I didn't know this last bit until today, he posted on Facebook this morning that his friend Marie had died with a photo of them together, but I didn't look at the photo and thought nowt of it until I saw your posts and put 2 and 2 together!

Yeah she had been diagnosed with a brain tumour back in 2002 so in some ways she did well to have survived it for so long.

RIP.

Can't beat Roxette's original but this girl really did it justice. Love a stripped back version of any song, when done well.

Made a pretty good name at Derby tbh. I'm sure it was his longest managerial spell too.

Very highly regarded in the sheepy parts of my county.

The age old lesson of never meeting your idols, I met him when I worked for the EA and he was a right miserable bugger!

However bought nature to a lot of kids so RIP.

Sad another character from my youth. Hadn't heard about him in ages. RIP fella.

I think when he started denying climate change was happening it rather stymied his career.
