Peter Brackley of Football Italia and Pro Evo fame

Brilliant commentator. Part of my childhood weekend mornings watching Italian football on channel 4. That show just worked brilliantly from the cool presentation of James Richardson to the cracking commentaries of Brackley and Wilkins.

I don't play computer games any more, but when I did, it was PES and I loved his commentaries on that as well.

I was reading about him as a person today and glad to read he was a total gent in 'real life' as well. Apparently a big Brighton fan but when he was sick in hospital he lent the guy across the bed from him, (who was a big Crystal Palace fan) his Ipad so he could watch Palace play Bournemouth. I would like to think most people would be big enough to do this, but still a decent gesture.

Me too. These days always feel the need to point out it was pitch and not content that was the issue to avoid coming across as a massive sexist.

I mean I possibly am,  but I don't want to come across that way.
