James Garner, AKA Jim Rockford has passed away at 86.  Used to love the rockford files.  Or at least the theme tune, never got further than that as it was my bedtime.  Always thought he was a prime candidate to be resurrected in some sort of Tarantino film.  Never happened.

I liked Garner in the 50's when he used to play Brett Maverick, in the western series Maverick.

At least his likeness lives on in Troy Tempest.

Mike Smith dies age 59. I was a teenager when he started the Radio 1 Breakfast show in 86, this makes me feel old, 59 is no age....

Good driver in the BTCC too. Not the most talented but he gave everything a bloody good go. Drove a Sierra RS500 too, absolute beast of a car!
