A classic voice of commentary gone. Walker could have commentated on bean flicking (no not that type you dirty buggars) and made it interesting.
For me the most synonymous quote will be:
"And it's GO GO GO for the <<insert GP>>"

I always thought he was knowledgable but too slow in his presenting and never a match for the late Brian Moore and as for Des I would still prefer him now to Gary Lineker on MOD

I hate Lineker as a presenter. I can't exactly put my finger on what it is, but there is just something about him I don't like. His pointless 'dad jokes' on twitter aside I think its the whole 'isn't football the greatest thing ever' type shtick, which I am well aware is what he is paid for, but it just irritates me. |
