RIP Saint, saw pics of Jimmy Greaves on his birthday at the weekend, he too looks in a bad way now.

Looking at the BBC website it suggests that Saint and Greavsie ended a frighteningly long 29 years ago, when he was 51... so perhaps its no wonder, they have got old as we have got old!

I remember so well their coverage of the 1993 Play-off Final....saying it was one of the great matches they had watched, and lamenting how poor the FA Cup Final had been in comparison. Saint was also pa key player in one of the great Liverpool teams.
