Would it though, does Pearce need a huge salary? He must have made a packet from his City job, and the u-21/coaching the senior team. Like I said to DV it could be that SP sees this as a hugely conveniant opportunity to get back into day to day football management. |

Yeah true. It's a good chance for him to impress and get noticed by a higher league team whilst maintaining his England connections. With him being local as well it's always a bonus. Pearce will put bums on seats at any club in this league. I guess we'd be in a position to pay him a few extra bob.

I think the issue is that he is using this as a stepping stone whereas I think AF wants someone who see's STFC as a long term development - SP would likely get us into the championship but would he continue with us longer term?
