It's not that bad but V for Vendetta is better.

24hour party people is on bbc3 at the same time. Worth a watch if you're interested in that era of music EDIT: It's that panel show thing not the film. TV guide had it listed in films though

Taken is the most ridiculous films of recent years. You have to watch it!
People say it's unrealistic but I don't know any American teenage girls who haven't followed U2 around Europe.
V for Vendetta is alright, a bit long winded but a good one watch.

If anyone's into Steven Soderbergh films, try and watch The Informant! It's actually my favourite of all his films. Matt Damon, I thought was hilarious in it.

Unknown - Neeson plays a victim of a car crash who suffers amnesia whilst in Berlin and must find out who he really is.
Bourne Supremacy
Battle: Los Angeles - Loved it, it's very "fuck yeah we're America we kick ass" at times but the fighting is intense and the aliens are bad ass. Which is what I wanted from this film.

I've just read a book like that, set in Berlin - Splinter by Sebastian Fitzek. Is the lead character called Marc Lucas and if so did the ending suck as much as the book did! edit: apparently not

I've caught a couple of bits of possibly the most bizarre film I've seen for a while on Sci-Fi channel recently. It was called the Centipede and involved a mad German scientist who tried to make a centipede type creature by joining 3 humans together - bloke at the front, woman behind him with her mouth surgically attached to his anus, another woman behind her also attached on. Only the bloke at the front gets fed, you can guess the rest.....
Not quite sure how he got them there, or how it finished, but it had the feel of an old 60s exploitation flick. It was certainly one of those films that you dont know why you carry on watching it, but just cant seem to switch it off.

hahah The Human Centipede. It seems to have become a bit of a cult classic. Apparently there's 2 more!

I nearly downloaded that the other day, but bringing things back to the start of this thread, I vowed not to just get films for the sake of them being disturbing since I watched Salo. If it's worse than that (how?) then I don't want to watch it, and if it isn't, then I doubt there's any other artistic merit to watch it for so what would be the point?
