over the past 2 days i firstly watch 13 game of death, which was a terrible asian (thai) film, but it was one of those bad ones which you kinda enjoyed, basicly a guy looses his job and get a phone call for an online gameshow to win lots of money by performing 13 diferent tasks each one being a bit more extreme than the last

and yesterday i watched orphan, basic horror, family adopts girl turns out shes mental and not actauly a girl but a 33 year old woman with a hormone problem and wreaks havok on the family.

I watched Kids last night. (The film, not the local playground)

Its a bit brutal, did it not get banned or something?

For it's cinematography in the opening scene with the "Virgin Surgeon" and his latest conquest?

Telstar is one i really want to see and is on my lovefilm list. Thinking again about mongol it is a good watch, the thing is because i know literally fuck all about ghengis khan it was almost like one of those bbc4 documentary stories. It was good dont get me wrong and kept me riveted but not brilliant.

I watched Nick and Norah's Infinite playlist and had to rectify it by watching Dambusters afterwards.

I liked it

I can't decide if I like the actual film, or just the soundtrack. I did like 'Sex Drive though'.

Just watched Red Eye. Struck me as being very short, though as I rented it from work unsuprisingly I missed what I think is a small chunk where the two main characters were at the bar in the airport. Average film really, not sure it really suited Cilian Murphy. Rachel McAdams looked lovely as ever though.

I finally got around to watching Away Days the other day.

What a strange film... an arthouse hooligan film focusing heavily on character development. I didn't like it as much as I thought I might when I saw the trailer/read the reviews, but I definitely disagree with the 2/10 recent score on this thread. It is better than that.

Another thing that makes it stand out from the other films in the genre is the gay subplot, which I knew about but which is surprisingly actually a pretty massive part of the plot. I would guess this is part of why it wasn't a massive hit.

Overall an interesting film, even if it doesn't pack the crude punch of Football Factory or ID.
