I've just ordered the Lord of the Rings box set from amazon.  One of my favourite books of all time and I thought the films, on the whole, did the book justice.  Can't wait for it to turn up, I shall watch them all in one glorious day.

Will they all be the extended editions?

The Lord of the Rings films are some of the best films ever without doubt. When you heard they were doing a film you just thought "it had better be good enough" and it was.  Cheesy Cheesy

Yep, tis the extended edtions box set.  I was worried when they announced they were making the films and was delighted when I saw them.

Can't wait for next Saturday which has now fully booked for viewing.

Quote from: Rich Pullen
Watched Groundhog Day earlier, never a chore watching.

I like the irony about being able to watch Groundhog Day over and over.

I watched Life Of David Gale at the weekend, thought it was brilliant.
Kevin Spacey is ace, there is only one film I can think of that he was in that I thought was shit and that was Glengarry Glen Ross. Awful film.

Watched Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix last night. Fancied something light and also a refresher before I see the new one sometime this week. Not the best of the Potter films but the visual effects are quite good.

My favourite piece of music used for a film is in that. Quality film as well, but I suspect you know this and have already seen it.
