Oh good. I got it because it seemed like it could be the right sort of film I need right now - a put it in the player and enjoy the ride film.

I will report back with a succinct review when I've watched it anyway.

Clubbed was a lot better than I thought it would be, didn't try and sex up the violence, it just got on with it and told the story.

I wasn't convinced by the softee turned hard doorman thing though which was the flaw of the film I suppose, but it did the job and kept me reasonably amused for an hour and a half.

Succinct as promised, good work.

I watched 'Into the Wild Green Yonder' (4th Futurama film) earlier, and I enjoyed it as I have the rest. In fact, I was watching Futurama the other day (the space honey ep) and thought about how affecting I find it to be - some of the episodes can be quite emotional, something you don't really find in other shows of the same or similar genre.

I've watched a few things recently...

Saw the Beyond the Mat wrestling documentary someone on here recommended last night. I thought it was really good.

Watched the new Rambo the other day, which to be honest was shit. At least it was properly violent and not toned down. The best bit by far was Rambo ripping some blokes throat out with his bare hands.  Eek

Saw Bruno on Tuesday night. I'd been looking forward to it for ages. I thought it was pretty funny but not quite as good as I'd hoped. I would have preferred it if there had been a bit more of the cleverer subtler humour and bit less of the crude blatant visual gags. Afterwards I was thinking maybe I preferred the Bruno stuff on Ali G in da USAii (if you liked Bruno you should consider getting this or at least look on youtube cos its pretty much all on there). Having said that tho there were some fucking hilarious bits like when he takes his baby on to the chat show. I will be interested to see if I like it more or less when the DVD comes out when my expectations aren't built up to the extreme.

You really need to see a doctor, your bladder should be more resilient, you must go through two packs of persil a week?

I don't think I will like the Bruno film, his character didn't make me laugh much when introduced on Ali G.

I'm looking forward to watching Bruno, I don't have it yet though.

However, I was sat at home today bored shiteless whilst flicking through the utter crap that Thai TV has to offer and what did I stumble across that had just started.......

Dirty Rotten Scoundrels.

I had completely forgotten about this little gem and enjoyed it thoroughly.
