I've just watched 'Beyond the Mat' a decade old documentary about wrestling, mostly WWE stuff. I watched it years ago but it's still really interesting regardless to whether someone likes wrestling or not.

7/10

I've got that on the download now. Cheers.

Maybe me and Axs could get together just to tick it off the list??

Only if I get to pick the film.

I've got W (dub-ya) for tonight.  Apologies if this has been covered before but is it any good?

Just watched W.

Typical Oliver Stone film really.

6/10

Thanks Spy, found this a few pages back.  I'll give it a go.  Not expecting much really.

Other than the occassional dig at Dubya and his cronies - I just didn't see the point in a lot of it. Saying that I watched it from start to finish.

Yeah, all this having a go at George Bush Jr is very tiresome.

It is, for my money, the biggest bandwagon going and most of the pop-culture commentary on it was regurgitated, lowest common denominator tosh with one eye on resurecting a career or adding an edgy slant to a previously squeaky clean apolitical image.

Hello Green Day.

Anyway here is a good clip:

Boom.

I think Stone should have made this in a few years time instead of while he was still in office.

Just finished W, Rich I think your 6 out of10 may have been generous.  Quite a shallow and pointless bio.  The only redeeming feature was the accuracy of Condaleeza Rice's accent.

Yeah, perhaps... I warned you that it was a bit pointless though.

You did indeed.  However, I'd spent a couple of quid renting it in a rash moment so had to watch it to the end.  Hey ho, you can't win everytime.  Might watch Gladiator to make up for it.

Yep. At first it was uniting - he was such an obvious hate figure and such an easy target. But soon after he started his second term I got bored of it and it was all totally passe.
